Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Partnership (MAP/MASH) Team at Surrey County Council based in Woking.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced multi-agency safeguarding environment, where you'll be responsible for screening contacts, assessing risk, sharing information with partner agencies, and making informed decisions to ensure children receive the right support at the right time. Surrey's MAP brings together professionals from social care, education, health and the police to make timely safeguarding decisions for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen referrals and contacts relating to children and families.
  • Undertake threshold decision-making and risk assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to gather and analyse information.
  • Identify safeguarding concerns and make timely recommendations.
  • Ensure children receive the appropriate level of intervention and support.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality case recordings.
  • Participate in duty and contribute to effective multi-agency working.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Previous experience within a MASH, Front Door, Assessment or Safeguarding Team.
  • Strong knowledge of children's safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
  • Excellent assessment, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
