Adult's SW - MH/Front Door Team - Manchester
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health/Front Door Team in Manchester. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality support and interventions for adults facing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to ensure the delivery of effective and person-centered social work services.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of service users' needs and risks, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered and documented.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health issues, advocating for their rights and needs.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and reviews are conducted.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
Essential qualifications and skills required for this position include:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within adult mental health services or similar settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
