Tameside Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead its Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) service on a locum basis. Offering a competitive rate of up to £46 per hour and a hybrid working arrangement, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established safeguarding service at the front door of Children's Social Care.
As Team Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight to a busy MASH team, ensuring effective screening, risk assessment and decision-making for children and families requiring support and protection. You will work closely with partner agencies to deliver timely safeguarding interventions and drive high standards of practice across the service.
About You
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
- Previous management experience within Children's Services
- Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge
- Experience within MASH, Duty & Assessment, or Front Door services
- Confident leading teams within a fast-paced statutory environment
