We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Neighbourhood Team at Bolton Council.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to support adults through a person-centred approach, helping individuals achieve positive outcomes while ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for completing safeguarding enquiries, assessing risks, identifying individuals' desired outcomes, and working collaboratively with adults, families, and partner agencies.

The role involves:

Managing safeguarding enquiries in line with Making Safeguarding Personal principles
Completing assessments and risk management plans
Working with adults to identify needs and provide appropriate support
Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
Experience within Adult Social Care / Safeguarding
Good knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act
Strong assessment, communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
