We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Swindon. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable families and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for families in crisis
  • Providing direct support and intervention to families to address safeguarding concerns
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and support for families
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and actions taken

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
