We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Adults Safeguarding Team in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults in a well-supported and collaborative environment.

? Role Overview:
As a key member of the Adults Safeguarding team, you will:

Lead on safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act.

Gather evidence, assess risk, and make robust, person-centred decisions for adults in need of protection.

Chair multi-agency safeguarding meetings, working collaboratively with partners to create and implement risk management and reduction plans.

Hold and manage a complex caseload, ensuring all interventions comply with statutory responsibilities and best practice.

? Requirements:
3+ years post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding or adult MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub).

In-depth knowledge and confident application of adult safeguarding legislation and principles, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.

Proven experience in case management, risk assessment, and multi-agency working.

SWE registration (Social Work England) and eligibility to work in the UK.

? Key Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Skilled in leading safeguarding strategy discussions and multi-agency planning.
