Children's SW - Assessment Team - Waltham Forest

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Waltham Forest. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking initial assessments and investigations into child protection concerns
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support children and families
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to provide holistic support
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience
  • Strong knowledge of child protection policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
