In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and young people, developing and implementing care plans, and providing support to families to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying risks and strengths.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans and care plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children, young people, and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Participating in team meetings, supervision, and training to continually enhance your professional development.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Care Wales. You should have experience working within a children’s social work setting, demonstrating a sound understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks. Additionally, strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a team and manage a caseload.
