We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Locality Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing cases, ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive the support and services they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of the needs of children, young people, and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate services and share information.
- Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members and students.
To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a solid understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues. Experience in working within a locality team or similar setting is highly desirable.
