Qualified Social Worker - South Complex Social Work Team
Location: Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Rate: £38.26 per hour
Contract: Locum
Start: ASAP
Hours: Full-time
Role Overview:
RBKC is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their South Complex Social Work Team, delivering high-quality adult social care services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, well-structured team with manageable caseloads and a strong leadership setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of up to 25 adults with complex needs
Complete Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, and support plans
Undertake Mental Capacity Act assessments
Participate in multi-agency work and safeguarding when required
Work closely with an Advanced Practitioner and Team Manager to ensure high standards of practice
Team Structure:
7 Social Workers
1 Advanced Practitioner
1 Team Manager
Collaborative and supportive team culture
Requirements:
SWE registered Qualified Social Worker
Proven experience in adult services and complex casework
Solid understanding of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
Ability to manage cases independently and contribute to team learning
