We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our SEND Family Help Service in Wolverhampton, offering an attractive rate of £33.30 per hour. As a QSW in the SEND Family Help Service, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs of children and families, developing tailored support plans.
- Providing direct support and intervention to families, fostering resilience and empowerment.
- Working closely with educational institutions, health services, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and support.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding assessments when necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly in the SEND sector.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service delivery.
