We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Wolverhampton - TM - SEND Family Help Service team on a temporary basis, with a competitive rate of £41.42 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to families with children who have special educational needs and disabilities.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families to develop tailored support plans
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services
  • Providing advice, guidance, and practical support to families to improve outcomes
  • Advocating for families to ensure they receive the necessary support and resources
  • Monitoring and reviewing progress to make adjustments to support plans as needed

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in working with children and families
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Strong assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs and disabilities
