We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to work in our Children in Care (CIC) and Court Team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring the best outcomes for children in care while working closely with families, schools, and other professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify their needs and strengths.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
  • Managing a caseload of children in care and ensuring their welfare and safety through regular monitoring and reviews.
  • Representing the local authority in court proceedings, providing clear and professional testimonies.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working in a children’s social work environment, particularly with children in care and court processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
