Adult's SW - Safeguarding Team - Southwark
Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Southwark as an Adult's Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in protecting and supporting vulnerable adults within our community. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate services and support necessary for their well-being. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding adults at risk and promoting their rights and independence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need of safeguarding interventions.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Providing advice and support to families and carers, ensuring they are informed and involved in the safeguarding process.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safeguarding best practices.
