We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Safeguarding team in Southwark. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively to protect and empower vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing support to children and adults at risk. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in partnership with service users and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and best practice.
- Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding issues.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to collaborative approaches to safeguarding.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork.
