Are you looking for a role that offers both professional development and the opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives? Slough Children First is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance & Audit Lead to help strengthen services and outcomes for children and families.

The Role:

As the Quality Assurance & Audit Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading QA and audit functions across all service areas. You'll help embed reflective practice, identify areas for improvement, and support managers to actively participate in our audit programme. Working closely with the Principal Social Worker and the wider improvement team, you'll provide professional challenge and insight that drives high-quality, impactful service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the QA and audit functions across Slough Children First.
  • Support practice improvement and the implementation of learning.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure compliance and promote a culture of quality.
  • Deliver reports and insights to the Senior Leadership Team and relevant boards.
  • Promote outcomes-focused practice that safeguards and supports children and young people.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, auditing, or practice improvement.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, performance evaluation, and service development.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
