Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Lead to join the Older People's Service with Croydon Council.

This is a key leadership role, supporting a team of qualified social workers and ensuring high standards of practice across care management, safeguarding, and statutory assessments. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of older people's services and a strong background in team leadership within adult social care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of social workers within the Older People's service

Ensure statutory responsibilities are met under the Care Act 2014

Support with case allocations, performance monitoring, and staff development

Provide professional supervision and guidance to the team

Contribute to service planning and improvements in line with best practice

Requirements:

SWE Registration

Significant post-qualified experience in Adult Social Care

Proven experience in team leadership or management roles

Strong working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
