Job Title: Qualified Social Worker - First Response Team
Location: Bath and North East Somerset (BANES)
Pay Rate: £34 per hour
Contract: Locum - Full Time
We are currently seeking 5 experienced Qualified Social Workers to join the First Response Team in Bath and North East Somerset.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for individuals requiring adult social care support. You will be required to be office-based and carry out face-to-face assessments across the BANES area.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake Care Act assessments and support planning
Respond to new referrals and conduct initial triage
Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and professionals to identify needs and risks
Deliver timely interventions focused on prevention and promoting independence
This position is initially based in the First Response Team, with the opportunity to transition into the Community Team to continue supporting Care Act assessments once internal staff return.
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
Previous experience in adult social care
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
Car driver with access to own vehicle for assessments
