Eden Brown Synergy is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join a well-established Locality Team at Durham County Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a growing team and help improve outcomes for children and families in Durham.

πŸ”‘ Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake parenting assessments, sibling assessments, and risk assessments to support families effectively.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager when required, providing leadership and guidance.
  • Chair key meetings including Strategy Meetings, CIN Reviews, and PLO meetings.
  • Supervise non-social work qualified staff, offering support and guidance.
  • Conduct case file audits and ensure data/compliance standards are met across the team.
  • Support the development of the team's skills and knowledge, modelling good practice and delivering group supervision.
