EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Advanced Practitioner for Durham County Council, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Court-Ordered Assessments Team (Non-Case Holding).

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Advanced Practitioner looking to focus exclusively on assessment work within a well-supported and established team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete parenting, sibling, risk, and safeguarding assessments as directed by the courts.
    * Undertake Parent Assess (or similar structured parenting assessments) where appropriate.
    * Gather, analyse, and evaluate information from children, families, professionals, and case records.
    * Produce clear, analytical, and court-compliant reports within agreed timescales.
    * Attend court and provide professional evidence when required.
    * Maintain accurate records and documentation.
    * Work collaboratively with social work teams, legal services, and partner agencies.
    * Ensure all work remains child-centred, safeguarding-focused, and compliant with current legislation.
