Sandwell Children's Trust is currently seeking an experienced Advance Practitioner to support their Oversight of Children In Residential Homes.
Location: Wellman Building
Pay Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Notes : This will be a Non- Case holding Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic oversight and quality assurance of children placed in residential homes
- Provide professional consultation and practice guidance to social workers and residential provides
- Monitor care planning, risk management and safeguarding within residential settings
- Strengthen partnership working with the Local Authority, residential providers and multi-agency partners
- Improve placement stability, outcomes and overall care quality
- Review and challenge care plans to ensure they remain child-centred and outcome focused
- Identify themes, risks and practice gaps to support service development
- Support complex decision-making and escalation where required
- Promote best practice, learning and continuous improvement across residential provision
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of this pilot role and its impact on services
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
