About the Role

Warwickshire County Council is seeking experienced Lead Child Protection Practitioners to join their newly established Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal leadership and coordination role within a progressive, collaborative safeguarding environment.
As a non-case-holding position, you will focus on driving effective multi-agency collaboration, ensuring robust safeguarding practices, and supporting professionals to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.
You will work alongside Social Workers, Police Officers, Health colleagues, and Lead Education Officers, contributing your expertise to enhance decision-making and intervention strategies across agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multi-agency responses to child protection concerns
  • Provide professional guidance and support across partner agencies
  • Facilitate information sharing and ensure timely, effective safeguarding actions
  • Support strategy discussions, planning, and risk assessments
  • Promote best practice and continuous improvement within the Multi-Agency Team
  • Work collaboratively to ensure the voice of the child is central to all decision-making
  • Contribute to the development of innovative safeguarding approaches
