Lincolnshire - Lead Child Protection Practitioner - CP Team
EDEN BROWN SYENRGY is currently looking for an experienced & committed Lead Practitioner for LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established Child Protection Team.
DETAILS:
- This is a joint job description for roles across the Q&A service, as permanent staff may move between roles. The specific role being advertised is for a Lead Child Protection Practitioner (LCPP).
- We are a pathfinder authority for the Government's Family First agenda, and this role has been developed in line with this guidance.
- In Lincolnshire, LCPPs will work alongside Family Help social work teams while maintaining independence, being based within the Quality and Standards Service. The role includes responsibility for:
- Chairing strategy meetings
- Checking the progression of Section 47 enquiries
- Chairing child protection conferences
- Monitoring the quality of child protection activity
- This role is integral to ensuring effective safeguarding practice and maintaining high standards across child protection work.
COMMENTS :
This is a full time office based role. We have three vacancies. One in Grantham and two in Horncastle/Louth
