The right candidate must have significant experience at a senior level of leading a large (preferably social) housing asset base including experience of the following - development and build, investment and strategic asset management, repairs and maintenance both planned and reactive.
We are looking for someone to support for the next 6 weeks the work that is ongoing on each of the points set out in the brief.
Creation of a decision process and methodology to consider the viability of assets post the building (SCS, compartmentalisation, building safety) reviews.
Creation of a 30 year plan
Set up a thorough assets register (in line with RSH expectations)
Introduce "smart" component replacement
Create a delivery plan on decency/Ranch style staircases
Skills development / transfer in service
Change management and service improvement
An understanding of regulatory compliance.
