Advance Social Worker is required to work within the Adults safeguarding Team in the beautiful Devon area. Based in Ivybridge or Kingsbridge. Rates up to £41ph. 37 hours per week 3 month minimum contract. Flexible, hybrid working arrangements. Required to be in the office 2.5 days per week.

Candidate must be:

* Social Worker..
* Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014 - Good legal literacy.
* Able to provide comprehensive and effective management skills and supervision to the team.
* Able to manage the day to day waiting lists and reviewing function.
* Able to provide support and guidance to the team and duty function.
* Be able to deputise for team manager as required.

Ability to respond promptly, carry out proportionate assessment and recording, working closely with community colleagues and health partners as required. Skills in Mental Capacity Assessment, establishing Best Interests and safeguarding.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
