We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fostering Social Worker to join our Support & Supervision Team in Liverpool. As a Fostering Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers to ensure suitability and safety.
- Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with children, foster carers, and other professionals.
- Preparing reports and documentation for fostering panels and court proceedings.
- Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in fostering or child protection settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
