Liverpool - QSW / AP - CP / Safeguarding Team - £40.00 p/h Umb
Liverpool City Council is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Advance Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Teams.
Location :- 80/82, Wavertree Road, Liverpool, Merseyside, L7 1PH.
Payrate :-£40.00 Per hour (Umbrella)
Work Patter:- 35 hours per week (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within Liverpool's Safeguarding Teams, making a direct impact to protect vulnerable children and young people.
- Undertake statutory safeguarding responsibilities, including Child in Need, Child Protection and care proceedings work.
- Complete robust risk assessments and safety planning to ensure children are protected from harm.
- Lead and contribute to strategy discussions, child protection conferences and core groups.
- Work closely with multi-agency partners (schools, health, police and early help services) to safeguard children effectively.
- Receive regular reflective supervision and strong management support to support decision-making in complex safeguarding cases.

- Access Family Group Conference services, family support workers and Early Help services to strengthen intervention and reduce risk.
- Manage a balanced caseload with a focus on high-quality practice and improved outcomes.

Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
