We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with experience in Learning Disabilities and project work to join our dynamic team in Cambridgeshire. You will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and other professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality support and care.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to determine their needs and support requirements.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
  • Engaging in project work to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Providing guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders in best practices for working with learning disabilities.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local policies and statutory requirements.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and families.
