Agency Social Worker (Level 2) - Physical Disability & Older People's Team
Location: Norwich, Norfolk | Pay Rate: £43.38 per hour | Duration: 12 weeks
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agency Social Worker (Level 2) to join our Physical Disability and Older People's Team in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, forward-thinking service committed to high-quality, strengths-based practice with adults in the community.
Our team works within the principles of Community Led Support (CLS), focusing on meaningful conversations, early intervention, and creative, community-based solutions that help individuals remain independent, resilient, and well. You will join a team that values relational practice and collaborates with partners across health and social care to achieve the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied community caseload, including complex situations, safeguarding enquiries, Mental Capacity Act assessments, and Care Act responsibilities
- Conduct timely, proportionate assessments and outcome-focused planning
- Ensure individuals receive the right support at the right time
Requirements:
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experienced in working with adults with physical disabilities and older people
- Skilled in managing community cases
- Strong organisational skills and sound professional judgement
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Familiarity with Norfolk County Council systems is highly desirable
