Children's SW - Family Safeguarding Team - West Sussex
Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in West Sussex as a Children's Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to help us protect and support vulnerable children and their families. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support families in crisis.
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
