Shropshire - Sr. QSW - CP/CIN Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection / Child in Need (CP/CIN) Team at Shropshire Council.
Pay Rate: £30.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: SY2 6ND, Shropshire
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Child Protection / Child in Need Team, supporting children and families through high-quality statutory social work. You will manage a varied caseload, undertake assessments, develop care plans and work closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and achieve positive outcomes.
You will be responsible for completing Child in Need and Child Protection work, undertaking Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, preparing court reports where required, and ensuring interventions are child-focused and outcome-driven.
Key Skills Required:
* Experience within Child Protection, Child in Need or Safeguarding Teams
* Strong knowledge of Section 17 and Section 47 processes
* Experience managing complex caseloads and completing statutory assessments
* Excellent safeguarding, risk assessment and decision-making skills
* Strong communication, report writing and multi-agency working abilities
* Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Experience working as a Senior Qualified Social Worker or equivalent
