Shropshire - QSW - Fostering Team
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Fostering Team at Shropshire Council.
Pay Rate: £28.55 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: The Shirehall, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ND
As a Social Worker in the Fostering Team, you will work closely with foster carers and children to ensure safe, stable, and supportive placements. You will play a key role in assessing and supporting foster carers while promoting positive outcomes for children in care.
Key Skills Required:
Experience working within Fostering services
Ability to support and assess foster carers effectively
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to produce high-quality assessments and reports
Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree, DipSW, or equivalent
Registered with Social Work England
Experience within children's services
5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, and relevant qualifications as per JDPS
