We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Shropshire. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial assessments and safeguarding investigations for children and families.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legislation and organizational policies.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a holistic approach to care and support.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection, safeguarding, or similar fields.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
