Qualified Social Worker - CP/CIN Team | Lincolnshire

We're currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection/Children in Need (CP/CIN) Team in Lincolnshire on an ongoing agency contract.

About the Role

As a Qualified Social Worker within the CP/CIN Team, you will manage a diverse caseload, carrying out assessments, safeguarding children, and working closely with families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes. You will play a vital role in ensuring children receive the support and protection they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Child Protection and Children in Need cases.
  • Undertake statutory assessments and develop outcome-focused care plans.
  • Complete Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries where required.
  • Work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
  • Prepare high-quality court reports and maintain accurate case records.
  • Ensure practice complies with safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance, and local procedures.

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.
  • Experience managing Child Protection and Children in Need cases.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
