Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team at Oldham Council.

Pay Rate: £39.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: George Street, Oldham, Greater Manchester, OL1 1HD, United Kingdom

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive frontline team, working directly with children, young people and families to assess need, manage risk and deliver timely interventions that promote positive outcomes. You will play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families through effective assessment, planning and partnership working.

Key Skills Required:

* Experience within Assessment & Intervention, Safeguarding, Child Protection and Children in Need services
* Ability to undertake high-quality assessments and formulate effective plans
* Strong risk assessment and decision-making skills
* Experience working with children, families and partner agencies
* Ability to manage a varied caseload and work within statutory timescales
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England
* Previous experience within Children's Services
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures
