Children's SW - Assessment & Intervention Team - Oldham
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Assessment & Intervention Team in Oldham. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. As a key member of our team, you will engage with families, assess their needs, and implement effective intervention strategies to support positive outcomes for children.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in accordance with local and national standards.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding and support.
- Providing guidance and support to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
