Barnet - Senior SW - CP / CIN Long Term Team - £37.54 p/h Umb
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the CP / CIN Long Term Team for Barnet Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of Child Protection and Child in Need cases, ensuring children receive appropriate support and protection.
* Complete statutory assessments, visits, care planning, and reviews in accordance with statutory timescales.
* Undertake safeguarding investigations and risk assessments where required.
* Prepare reports for court proceedings, Child Protection Conferences, and other statutory meetings.
* Work closely with partner agencies to ensure coordinated interventions and positive outcomes for children and families.
* Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice guidance.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working.
Pay Rate:
* £37.54 p/h Umbrella.
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
* Social Work England Registration.
* Significant post-qualified experience within Childrens Social Care.
* Previous UK Local Authority experience within a CP / CIN or Long Term Team.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, Child Protection procedures, and statutory guidance.
