About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the DCPT (Locality) Team at Nottinghamshire Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established Children's Services team on an ongoing agency contract.
As part of the Locality Team, you will work with children and families to assess needs, manage complex caseloads, and deliver effective interventions that promote positive outcomes while ensuring children remain safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of children and families.
Complete high-quality assessments, care planning, and reviews.
Undertake safeguarding and child protection work in line with statutory guidance.
Prepare reports for conferences, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Maintain accurate and timely case recordings and ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities.
Requirements
Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.
Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workers.
Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
