Liverpool - Advanced Practitioner - Permanence Team

As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex casework and providing expert guidance to social work staff.
- Conducting assessments, developing care plans, and reviewing cases to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Facilitating training and development for social work practitioners, sharing best practices and enhancing team skills.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, children, and external stakeholders.
- Participating in court proceedings and representing the Local Authority in legal matters.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families.
