Pay Rate: £39.06 per hour (Umbrella)

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Practitioner to join the Permanence Team at Liverpool City Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Permanence Team, supporting children and young people to achieve safe, stable and permanent outcomes. You will manage complex cases, provide professional guidance to colleagues, and work closely with children, families and partner agencies to ensure timely permanence planning.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a key role in promoting best practice, mentoring less experienced social workers, and ensuring that assessments, care planning and interventions are delivered to a high standard in line with statutory guidance and local procedures.
Key Skills Required:
- Previous experience within Permanence, Children in Care, Looked After Children, Adoption or Children's Services
- Strong knowledge of permanence planning, safeguarding and statutory children's social care legislation
- Experience managing complex cases, undertaking statutory assessments and care planning
- Ability to mentor, support and provide guidance to less experienced social workers
- Excellent assessment, report writing and multi-agency partnership working skills
- Ability to make informed, child-centred decisions and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people
- Social Work England registration required
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Registered with Social Work England
- Previous experience within Children's Services, ideally within a Permanence or Children in Care Team
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, care planning and permanence processes
