Children's SW - Family Safeguarding - Cambridgeshire
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding team in Cambridgeshire. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention services to children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments to identify risks and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support to families.
- Managing a complex caseload and ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive outcomes.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
- Experience working in a Children's Services setting, preferably within Family Safeguarding.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop intervention plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
