We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Safeguarding team in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to vulnerable children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families.
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes for families.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated support.
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote their welfare.
  • Providing support and guidance to families to address complex needs and challenges.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Experience working within a safeguarding or child protection setting.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
  • Commitment to upholding professional standards and promoting the welfare of children.
