We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Herefordshire - Adults Locality Team Manager to join our team on a contractual basis at a competitive rate of £42 per hour. As a vital member of our Qualified Social Work field, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team to deliver high-quality services to adults in the Herefordshire area.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers and support staff to ensure the effective delivery of services to adults in the locality.
  • Provide supervision, support, and guidance to team members, promoting professional development and ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Oversee and manage complex cases, conducting assessments, and developing care plans in line with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote partnership working and integrated service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance, outcomes, and quality of service provision, implementing improvements where necessary.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory role within adult social care services.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult social work.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
