Job Advert - Qualified Social Worker (Assessment & Safeguarding) - Haringey Council
? Location: Haringey
? Rate: £30.52 per hour
? Contract: Locum - Ongoing
? Hours: Full Time (36 hours per week)

Haringey Council is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Assessment & Safeguarding Team.

This role is ideal for social workers passionate about person-centred practice, with a strong commitment to upholding the principles of the Care Act 2014. You will be responsible for undertaking strengths-based assessments and reviews, supporting adults and carers to maintain independence and access preventative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Care Act assessments and reviews

Promote independence through strengths-based practice

Identify and implement preventative strategies

Work collaboratively with health, voluntary, and community partners

Ensure timely and proportionate interventions in safeguarding situations

Requirements:

Social Work qualification and SWE registration

Proven experience in adult social care

Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014

Strong interpersonal and assessment skills

This is a hybrid role with flexible working and a supportive team culture
