Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join a busy and dynamic team in the North East London Area. This role will involve managing a caseload of MSK patients, providing assessments, treatments, onward referrals, and clinical administration. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality physiotherapy care, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the recovery and rehabilitation of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Caseload Management: Managing a diverse caseload of MSK patients, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing evidence-based physiotherapy treatments.
Clinical Administration: Documenting patient progress, creating reports, and managing referrals through the system. Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with NHS standards.
Treatment & Referrals: Providing hands-on physiotherapy treatment, recommending appropriate interventions, and making onward referrals where necessary.
Collaborative Working: Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
Patient Education: Offering education and advice to patients and their families regarding self-management, injury prevention, and recovery.
Skills/Experience Required:
Essential:
Experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a strong background in assessing and treating MSK conditions.
Proficient in using Rio (essential) for patient records and management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including telephone and email correspondence.
Strong administrative skills, with experience in using Excel and other relevant systems.
Candidates must hold an NHS Smartcard and have relevant experience of using E-referrals (desirable).
Additional Information:
The role will be based in the Physiotherapy Department at the [anonymised location], with the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
The role requires Monday to Friday working hours, with shifts running from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Requirements:
HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist.
Experience working in MSK Physiotherapy is essential.
Experience of using Rio is essential.
