Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a children's social services team. The OT will assess home environments, recommend adaptations and equipment, and support independence for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments of referrals and evaluate needs related to access, safety, and independence in the home.
Support junior staff within the team.
Complete reports and attend panels as required.
Apply knowledge of the Care Act and Disabled Facilities Grants process.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements:

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Experience in social services or community OT settings
Strong assessment and communication skills

Desirable:

Experience with children's services and adaptation planning
