CAFCASS is currently seeking experienced Family Court Advisers (FCA) to join their teams across Essex and the Norfolk & Suffolk region.

We are recruiting for two positions:

  • 1 x FCA covering Essex (Office base: Chelmsford)
  • 1 x FCA covering Norfolk & Suffolk (Office base: Norwich)

Rate: £36 per hour

These are excellent opportunities to join a well-respected organisation and work within Public and Private Law proceedings, supporting children and families through the court process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking Section 7 and Section 37 reports
  • Managing a caseload of Private and/or Public Law proceedings
  • Completing risk assessments and safeguarding children
  • Working closely with courts, local authorities, and partner agencies
  • Representing CAFCASS in court

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Previous CAFCASS experience or strong court work experience
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads and meet court deadlines
