Role Overview

Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Multi Agency Exploitation Hub (MAEH). This is a hybrid role offering a mix of office and remote working.

You will provide direct line management to a team of 6 Advanced Practitioners who coordinate a multi-agency response for young people identified as being at high risk of exploitation. The role also involves supporting locality teams with expert advice and guidance, coordinating interventions, and contributing to the development of intelligence mapping and identification of community hot-spots.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Multi Agency Exploitation Hub team
Provide supervision and oversight to 6 Advanced Practitioners
Coordinate multi-agency responses for children at risk of exploitation
Offer specialist advice and guidance to locality teams
Develop and contribute to mapping of exploitation risks and community hot spots
Chair and contribute to complex multi-agency exploitation meetings
Ensure high-quality risk assessment and safety planning
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years' post-qualified (permanent) experience
At least 4 years' experience as a Team Manager in a similar service
Extensive experience in a Multi Agency Exploitation Hub setting (applications without this will not be considered)
Strong background working with children and young people at risk of:
Criminal exploitation
Sexual exploitation
Trafficking
In-depth knowledge of:
National and local safeguarding policies
Contextual safeguarding
Trauma-informed practice
Proven experience in:
Risk analysis and safety planning
Leading or contributing to complex exploitation meetings
Sexual Exploitation Training (essential)
