Eden Brown Synergy are currently supporting a specialist neurological rehabilitation service with the recruitment of a Senior Speech and Language Therapist.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with neurological experience to join a specialist rehabilitation setting supporting adults with complex long-term neurological conditions.

The service provides specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy-led rehabilitation, focusing on maximising independence, communication, swallowing function and overall quality of life.

The Role

As the Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

Manage a specialist neurological caseload
Complete assessments, treatment planning and interventions
Support individuals with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
Lead therapeutic group and one-to-one sessions
Work closely within the MDT to support rehabilitation goals
Provide dysphagia assessment and management
Support families and carers throughout the rehabilitation pathway
Contribute to audits and service development initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for the role, you will need:

HCPC Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
Experience managing dysphagia caseloads
Previous neurological rehabilitation experience
Experience working with families and carers
Evidence of continued professional development
Strong communication and MDT working skills
