The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
  • Proficient in using IT systems for record-keeping and reporting.
